Horizon Medical has been serving the Denali Borough since 2009 through the Canyon Clinic. We provide urgent care and family practice. Occupational health needs can be available upon special request.
Our mission is to provide patient oriented services to improve community health. All our providers work hard to deliver individualized care to each patient who comes through our doors.

Thomas DeBlauw, PA-C
Clinic co-owner, Thom, was raised in Alaska. Following high school he later graduated from the MEDEX Physician Assistant program through the Army. Tom served in the Army Special Forces. His medical interests include cardiology, emergency, and military medicine. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, travel, spending time with his family, and building his home with his wife.
Seamus Siddall, PA-C
Clinic co-owner, Seamus, was born and raised in Alaska. He has been associated with the medical services at Clear AFS since 1998 as an EMT and eventually as a Physician Assistant beginning in 2008. He graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX Physician Assistant program and is certified by the NCCPA. He maintains memberships in the AAPA, AKAPA, and SEMPA. When he is away from work , he most enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in anything outdoors.
Jim Siddall, PA-C
Clinic co-owner, Jim, was raised in Wisconsin. He served in the US Marines and graduated from University of Wisconsin/Marshfield Clinic Physician Assistant program. His medical interests include emergency medicine, family practice and nutrition. His hobbies include skiing, snowshoeing, scuba diving, camping, hunting, fishing, and carpentry. He also enjoys volunteering his talents with various organizations and has volunteered in Haiti and India.
Anne Barker, RN
Born and raised in Alaska, Anne obtained her nursing degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Anne loves working with the fabulous team at Canyon Clinic where she feels privileged to help provide medical care for this wonderful community. In addition to working as a nurse and managing the Canyon Clinic, Anne loves the outdoors, running and spending time with her family.
Marc Dumas, MD
Marc has been involved with EMS for over 35 years. He is a residency trained and board certified emergency medicine physician. He currently functions as a tactical physician for the Fairbanks Police Department’s Tactical Police Team, a position he’s held for over 19 years, and has worked with the Alaska State Troopers, FBI, ATF, DEA, and others. He also serves as medical director for the Fairbanks Fire Department, the Ketchikan Fire Department, the Alaska Marine Highway System, and numerous other EMS agencies around the state. Marc has extensive experience as a flight physician, ER physician, and pre-hospital provider.
